Lock Change Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Lock Change Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Boise, Idaho. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties through effective lock installation and repair. You will work in a fast-paced environment, directly interacting with customers and addressing their security needs.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and change locks for residential and commercial properties.
• Provide exceptional customer service while addressing clients’ inquiries and concerns.
• Diagnose issues with existing locks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of serviced locks and customer interactions.
• Stay informed about the latest security systems and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and quality.

Required and preferred qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle.
• The tools for the trade, or the means to purchase the tools needed.
• Open availability, including weekends.
• Experience in lock installation and repair.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of security systems is preferred.

How the role works

This is a 1099 independent contractor position — pay is per job.
